HIND DI CHADAR FOUNDATION

• The HIND DI CHADAR FOUNDATION is an NGO that aims to provide aid in five sectors (i.e. Health, Education, Research, Food and Conservation of earth) necessary for intellectual and physical growth of human beings and sustenance of human civilization.
• The HIND DI CHADAR is a prestigious title given to Ninth Guru of Sikh religion, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji for his supreme sacrifice by standing for everybody’s freedom irrespective of caste, creed, religion, race, and sex of people. He treated all mankind as one and restored faith and equitability among people.
• The meaning of HIND DI CHADAR is SHIELD OF HINDUSTAN. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji (9th incarnation of Guru Nanak Dev Ji) is remembered as the shield that has protected the people of Hindustan.
• The HIND DI CHADAR Foundation follows the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of the Sikhism, and works on the basic fundamentals of Sikhism.
• The Motto of this Foundation is to CARING FOR MANKIND.
• Since the word Sikh is derived from ‘Sikhana’ means to learn. The first and foremost principle of this Foundation is to provide education to all those who desire to learn and excel but are unable to attain it due to social implications and fiscal shortage. We also aim to offer yearly awards and medals to those who stands out in education.
• Sikh teachings emphasizes on the concept of sharing or Vaṇḍ Shhako ( ਵੰਡ ਛਕੋ ) that is to share what you have and to consume it together as a community. This Foundation also makes sure to provide basic amenities such as food and medications to the people in need.
• As Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji (10th incarnation of Guru Nanak Dev Ji) taught us to be a soldier as well as a saint. Therefore, it is our duty to not only protect the people but also to take the responsibility to preserve our Planet Earth. Thus our Foundation takes initiatives to protect Mother Nature.
• In this fast pace lifestyle, numerous diseases such as Cancer, Diabetes etc. are spreading at very high rate that has taken many innocent lives. Therefore, we aim to aid the research in the field of Health and Medicine.
• We are committed to provide humanitarian help to marginalized and underprivileged people around the world and round the clock.
